It really DOES work well, Red Pen. It actually looks like selective coloring. smile
Red Pen: Now that you mention it, Ginnie, it does look that way. Isn't that interesting?

Excellent picture!! Very good contrast flowers versus background. Colors match very well. Goes to my likey's.
Red Pen: Thank you for visiting and for the nice compliment.
Very nice angle of view, I like the contrast between flowers and the wall !
Red Pen: Yes, it was the contrast here that caught my eye. Thanks.
I do like shots that contrast the natural and the built environment. This is great. Cheers, Dave
Red Pen: I do, too, Dave, and I keep an eye out for this type of juxtaposition. The rough, imperfect wall sets the delicate flowers off so nicely, I think.
Great texture on the wall
Red Pen: Thanks, Magnus. The wall's texture is one of the things I like most about this image.

That's nice, the soft colours look so well together
Red Pen: Thanks, Ellie. I like the simplicity and limited colors.
Simple, crisp, charming and a lovely colour palette- great image!
Red Pen: Thank you kindly, David.
Ohh very nice Red Pen !
Red Pen: Merci, Roland.

Since I have missed out two weeks on Shutterchance I am given to scanning archives as I can't possibly view each individual picture of everyone. Reason I mention this is that I think when I view your pictures, there is a subtle change in style and quality coming through - and I like it. Since I have now went to Europe at the start of our winter and landed in a very warm summer there, I am slao strting to think that seasonal changes can have an impact on photography (probably not the studio types) and the mood of the photographer.

Excellent picture Red Pen.
Red Pen: Thank you, Louis. I do hope that my photos are improving over time. I always appreciate your feedback.
Yes, I like this, very much. This is flowers with that litle extra something, something out of the ordinary. Have you considered cropping a little more in the bottom, maybe removing around 2 cm.....just a thought smile

Can't remeber all your pics but this one is definetely one of my favourites smile
Red Pen: Thanks for the feedback, Aksel. I'll have to try that. Glad you like the photo.

I love this. Like others who have commented, it's the delicacy of the flowers against the rugged wall behind which makes it especially memorable.
Red Pen: Thank you. smile And doesn't that wall have character? It makes a nice contrast.
