Great macro! Those things in the middle (whatever they are called) seem to rise out of a nebulous abyss. This certainly presents a familiar object in a compelling new way.
Another picture with an aura of mystery about it. The soft focus below the stamen gives it a dreamy quality, rather like your last post of the crystals. You are truly an artist.
Outstanding composition and lovely tones.
Fantastic detail.. love the lines and tones.

The fact that you have presented this in sepia, Red Pen, is what gives this a SURPRISE effect. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Excellent macro and processing.

When you feel creativity behind the lens escaping start fiddling with processing - it works for me.
So many of the crucial ingredients of a great image are here- line, tone, texture are super, and the way one's eye is drawn down into that mysterious depth is just so good!...

Nice different catch.
Very nice, love the texture and focus. My only concern is the white area in the bottom right corner, that takes to much of my attention...
Wow.... I like.
